This was my first trip with my wife, actually this was our honeymoon trip. And I think this was my trip the most amazing. First we arrived we went straight to the hotel. Hotels that we're staying is not expensive, the charge is only around Rp 350.000 or around US $ 35 per night.

And my wife was very happy, because this was her first time to Bali, but for me it was my fifth time to Bali. And Bali is never boring. We arrived at noon, so after cleaning up our self, we went to Kuta for a sightseing. Our Hotel is located in front of Kuta Beach. So it was very interesting.

And the next day we were around Bali with renting a car. The charge is not so expensive, about US $35 per day from 8 am to 5 pm. We went to the Alas Kedaton, Tanah Lot, and I think that day the most amazing places we visited was Bedugul. The place is very beautiful with cool air and magnificent scenery, makes me fascinated.

The next day we travelled by renting a motorcycle. It was only US $4 per day, so its very cheap and gave us a different experience in exlporing bali. On that day we visited beaches. We went to Sanur Beach, Nusa Dua Beach, Garuda Wisnu Kencana and a very nice scenery of Temple at the edge of a cliff.

Arriving at the hotel it was early evening. After a shower we had dinner at Jalan Kuta and spent the night there. This was a very amazing night that I spent with my wife.

The next day we just sightseeing arrount Jalan Kuta, playing at the beach of Kuta beach. And have a nice massage at the beach. Because many women who offer massage services.

On that day we had dinner at Kuta Legian, exactly at KFC. Kuta Legian is very crowded street. Many tourists who stay in Kuta just took to the streets of Legian Kuta. Because there are many shops are open at night and very festive atmosphere.

And it was my last night in Bali with my wife, and we prepared for tommoror because our flight was at 9 am. We had a great holiday in Bali and one day we'll be back again.

Jakarta, one of the big cities in Indonesia is the Capital city of Indonesia. Here the wheels of government on the Run. Jakarta is located in the northwestern part of Java Island. Once known as the Sunda Kelapa / Kalapa (before 1527), Jayakarta (1527-1619), Batavia (1619-1942), and Djakarta (1942-1972).

In 2008, the area is approximately 740 km ² and a population over 9 million inhabitants. Jakarta with metropolitan Jabotabek with a population of approximately 23 million inhabitants is the largest metropolitan areas in Indonesia or a sixth of the world. Jabotabek area now has been integrated with Bandung Raya area, where Megapolis Jabotabek-Bandung Raya covering approximately 30 million people, which puts this region Megapolis second world, after Tokyo Megapolis.

Jakarta is a city in Indonesia's most rapid development. It also makes the layout of the city neglected. Many buildings are built on green land so that the flooding problem became the main topic in Jakarta's issue. Currently being built east flood canal, and it expected slightly reduce the problem of flooding in Jakarta.

Jakarta is also famous for its sculptures - statues. There are 3 large statue that characterizes the city of Jakarta. And each statue has its own history. Jakarta is a big city with a high appeal for fortune seekers. In the estimate the entire tribe in Indonesia is in Jakarta. Yes Jakarta indeed have their own appeal. Every year there are coming to Jakarta to find work. Jakarta is a source of where to look for a job, This is what makes Jakarta every year looks more and more claustrophobic. The traffic jam is something that can be seen every day in Jakarta. Volume of vehicles is not comparable to the broad road.

In this city there are buildings that have historical value. One is National Monument or Monas known better. Monas is currently also a tourist attraction, and has become an icon of Jakarta. In the Monas we can see lots of deer that roam freely maintain and in one corner of Monas. Monument in the past used as the venue for Festival Jakarta Fair, before it moved to Kemayoran.

So if you visit to Jakarta, is not complete without a visit to Monas.

On October 2nd 2009, The United Nation establish that Batik is one of World Culture Heritage of Indonesia. Batik is a writting art on a cloth that became a culture of Indonesian Royal Family along time ago. It means Batik already familiar since the age of monarchy.

Nowadays Batik already became an art that anybody can have it and appreciate it. A lot of Government Leader wear Batik as their uniform on a special day. In fact other country leaders wear Batik when they came to Indonesia.


In fashion world Batik already became a trend, and already became a beautiful design of fashions. Nowadays Batik already known as a world of trend fashion. Batik devided into two kinds. First is hand-dyed batik fabric and second is print batik facric. And the things that make Indonesian Batik is so beautiful is the Batik is hand made.


People in Indonesia especially the Javanese people already consider that Batik is their pride. They make Batik as a their culture heritage. The central of Batik industry is in Pekalongan, Solo, Ponorogo, Yogya and many other cities in Java. Now we Indonesian are very glad that the UN establish Batik as a World culture Heritage of Indonesia.

Beside of its multi colored culture, Indonesia also has a lot of Animals. And some of them are really from Indonesia. But now the amount of the population are decreased, because of human behaviour. Just Sumatra Tiger, they hunt because of their precious leather. Rhinoceros hunt because of their precious horn.

And some of them are hunt just for hobby, most of rich people like to take care of the animals just because of their hobby. Also because of the forest time by time decrease by purpose. People open a new land by burn the forest, and replace it with a farming area. Otomaticly this will cause the home of the animals more and more decrease.

Indonesia is known for its forest. Because almost half of Indonesia consist of forest. Indonesia consist of Five big Islands. Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and Papua. And in every each one of the Island have a very unique animals. Like Borneo, the forest very famous because of its original Indonesian Animal.

Orang utan, means "jungle man" in English, is one of the wild animal in the Forest of Borneo. Its behavior really like human, that's what we called "Orang Utan". Orang Utan included one of rare animal in yhe world. And it is protected.

Nowadays, Its population decease drasticly cause of human behavior. Its original habitat more and more decrease. Illegal Logging is the most threaten for its habitat. If the Government won't act about this issue soon, we will never see one of this unique animal.

Beside its Unique Cultural, Borneo famous by the tourist for its forest. Tourist who like a wild life, suittable to come to borneo. Because the biggest forest in Indonesia nowadays is Borneo. And a lot of scientist came to Borneo for studying its wild life. Do you know "Raflesia Arnoldi", A big flower smells like dead corps, if you were lucky you will find it in Borneo.

So if you like wild life, if you like wild animal, if you like beeing in forest, you should try to come to Borneo.

Borobudur is one of seven world of wonder, built using +/- 55,000 m3 stones. The height of the temple is 42 m, and widht about 123 m. Borobudur is the Biggest Buddha Temple in the world. This temple is a apart of History, and it's been 12,000 years old.

The temple is full of carved reliefs, and it contains the ideology of Buddha. On this era Borobudur became a central of attention and praised as a holy structure. But that was not too long, together with the fade of the Buddhism, Borobudur abbandoned by its followers.


The architecture of Borobudur is indeed very interesting, it consist of three main element, which are foundation, body and head of the temple. On the temple wall carved beautiful reliefs. Relief means a story that painted in one panel for one story. Thera are thousands of reliefs here and hundreds of statues of Buddha placed in the stupas of the temple.

Borobudur located in the Province of Central Java, exactly in Magelang. About 1 hour from another interesting tourism Object Jogyakarta. At this time Borobudur is one of the greatest tourism object in Indonesia. The cool of the weather makes it so perfect.

Nias, an island located In the west of north Sumatra described by the Tourist as a paradise on earth. Its positioned ahead of Indian Ocean give the paradise to the surfer because of the big wave.

Beside the beautiful panorama of the beach, Nias give a different experience in Culture. The most Favorite is the famous "STONE JUMPING". Nias Islands have a unique Nature Legacy and amazing culture. We still can see the stone age archaelogical remains in a traditional village with the unique and antique of traditional house, literature tradition and all kinds of amazing national arts and handicraft.

The tourist can directly see the life of the people who live in traditional house. And live with their traditional way. Teluk Dalam is the central of Tourist based on the megalith ancient remain, and it becomes number one foreign tourist visitation. The famous is the Bawomatuluo Village (hill of the sun), and its full of Traditional house.

And in this Bawomatuluo the tourist who came by to the village not just able to see the beauty of The Omo ada traditional house architecture, but also the show of "Tari Baluse" (war dancing) or "Hombo batu" (Stone jump).

Not so far from Teluk Dalam adn Bawomatuluo village, about 6 km  axtended Lagundri Beach. This beach famous for the surfing or Water sport. Compare to other Lagundri beach is more unique because of its 15 kind of Waves that very attractive very much.

Visiting Toba Lake in North Sumatra just like visiting the sea, because of its size. This one of the best tourism object in Indonesia is the Biggest Lake in Indonesia with 100 km lenght and 30 km widht. And it also a volcanic lake.

In the middle of the lake existed a volcanic Island called Samosir Island. Toba lake already become an importan tourism object in north Sumatra beside Bukit Lawang and Nias. And it attractives tourist from Indonesia and outside.

Toba Lake have so much beutiful view along the side, but because it doesn't manage well we only able to enjoy Toba Lake just a small part of it. But Now days the government and the people relized about the tourism potency of Toba Lake. They cooperate each other to manage Toba Lake become better and better. The Government begin to fix the broken road access to Toba Lake, and naw More and More Hotel already built there.

With this renovation hopefully will increase tourist to come to Toba Lake. I believe Toba Lake will become on of the best tourism Object in Indonesia.

One of the greatest tourism Object in Bali, Tanah Lot is located in Beraban Village, in the district of  Tabanan, about 13 km west of Tabanan. In the north of Tanah lot temple, existed a temple that located on the cliff that face the ocean.

Tanah lot famous for it views of sunset. The tourist usually go there in the afternoon to see sunset. Tanah Lot gives the best view of Sunset in Bali. And the existing of the temple there makes the view even more perfect. The view of Tanah Lot when sunset often take by the photographer for their collection.

Here, located two temples place on the big rock. One located on the piece of a big Rock and the other located on the Cliff ahead of the ocean. The Tanah Lot Temple is a part of Sad Kahyangan Temple. Tanah Lot is a temple of God that guard the sea.

The legend said that this temple built by a Brahmana who traveled from Java. He was Danghyang Nirartha who succeed in strenghten the faith of Bali people about hinduism and built the Sad Kahyangan in the 16th centuries.

Along the enterence to Tanah lot, there are so many art shop and restaurant to stop by. The art shop sell so many Balinese handicraft in a cheap price. And the friendliness of the people even make it more perfect. You won't regret to place Tanah Lot for one of  your trip destination.

Have you ever been to mountains? Bedugul Bali offers the atmosphere of mountains. Bedugul also one of tourist attraction in Bali. This tourism object located in the provincial subdivision of Tabanan and famous for the Lake and the restaurant.

The temperature of Bedugul is Chillier than the tourism object in Bali. The temperature is about 18 degrees of Celcius, and it gives different atmospere during holiday in Bali. This tourism object  is similar to what Kintamani offers.

So if you like the atmospere of the mountains you can try what Bedugul offered. Bedugul famous for the beauty of Tablingan Lake and you can enjoy by rent a speedboat or a traditional wooden sailing ship to go arround the lake. And just alongside the lake you can also see the holy temple. As you know, Bali known for the temple.

Bedugul is not an expensive tourism object, the price of the food and the rate of the hotel is so cheap. With only US $5 per night you can easily find a place to sleep.But if you want to stay in a prestigious place you can rent a Villa with two bedroom, a living room, a familiy room and kitchen for only US $30/night.
